Latin America: all the attention rushed to Asia

Thursday, January 21, the main share indexes of Latin America against the backdrop of fears of tighter monetary policy in China and the consequent slowing down the restoration of the world economy, most of them have finished day with negative dynamics.

Papers of the world”s largest earner of iron ore Vale fell 3.6% after analysts UBS assigned to American depositary receipts of the company rated “neutral”, saying the limited growth opportunities after the previous rally.

Quotes Airlines Tam slipped to 5%, while its rival Gol abated from its asset 6,4% on fears of possible negative impact of slowing global economic recovery in the air.

Mexican Bolsa by the end of the trading session down by 2.56% to a value of 31 205.3 points. Quotes of mining company Grupo Mexico have fallen off the day at 5,59% on fears of demand reduction for products from China.

 

Papers of the largest national retailer Walmex “thinner at 3.64% after Morgan Stanley”s analysts lowered the recommendation on the shares of the company, saying that despite the overall improvement in the macroeconomic situation in the country, the fundamentals of the company and the dynamics of its shares evoke these fears.
