In 2010, MK Uralmash supply 2300 tons of mill rolls enterprises ArcelorMittal in Poland and Kazakhstan
Engineering Corporation Uralmash, a part of OMZ Group, has signed contracts with the enterprises of the world”s largest steel company ArcelorMittal in Kazakhstan and Poland for delivery in 2010 2300 tons of mill rolls.
For ArcelorMittal Temirtau (Kazakhstan) will be put up rolls for hot and cold rolling and working rolls for cold rolling mills, factories for Polish Huta Kr #243; lewska and D #261; browa G #243; rnicza - working rolls for hot rolling.
The contracts were signed on the basis of tenders, in which MK Uralmash bypassed enterprises of Ukraine and China, the company says.
“We have been cooperating with factories and ArcelorMittal, the results of the negotiations, we plan to increase delivery volumes and the rolls of metallurgical equipment and other business groups. Factories in Poland and Kazakhstan have given us a great part of the annual volume of mill rolls,” — said Yuri busybody, director of the division “Metallurgical Equipment.
Currently, more than 60% of the rolls are made for export. Customers of MK Uralmash are companies in Poland, China, Kazakhstan, India, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Macedonia, Luxembourg, Turkey and Bulgaria. In the long term are expected to sign agreements with Belgium, Romania, Algeria, Ukraine.
MK Uralmash manufactures steel forged rolls of four types - support and working rolls of cold and hot rolling of 2-3% Cr and 5% Cr steels. They are used in rolling mills in the manufacture of various types of rolled products - from the thinnest sheet metal and foil to thick plates and large workpieces.
“Uralmashzavod” has a complete production cycle rolls, including the steel smelting, forging, heat treatment and machining, including precision valtsshlifovalnyh machines.
